He’s not a corporate technician who clocks in and out, he’s a guy who really loves cars and built a business around that.

Andrew spent over 20 years working his way through nearly every role the automotive industry has: technician, lead tech, service advisor, service manager. He held BMW Master Technician status for 14 years, one of the most demanding certifications in the industry. When he acquired The BMW Guy in 2025, he brought all of it with him.

How do I know when my MINI is due for service?
Most modern MINIs monitor engine oil, brake fluid, vehicle check and even brake replacement service intervals. Your MINI will tell you when it’s time for service when the maintenance light turns red.
How do I know what type and how much oil my MINI takes?
Always refer to any owner’s manual you may have. If the manual is not available, call an certified dealership/repair center and give them your specific VIN. Oil weight and capacity can vary by year or model. Getting it wrong could result in engine damage.
These repairs cost a lot. Should I sell my MINI?
The answer to that is always yes! If that question is already in your head you will always doubt or even regret any financial decision that keeps you in your MINI. Just get a new MINI! Or BMW.

Can we complete MINI warranty repairs or recalls.
We cannot complete factory warranty repairs or recalls. But we will guide you to the appropriate center if we suspect your vehicle may have some sort of warranty or recall, even if we cannot complete those repairs ourselves.
Which repairs should I do now and which can wait?
Our inspections prioritize repairs that should be completed immediately, that need attention or that can wait until the next service. We’re more concerned that you’re informed as to the overall health of your vehicle rather than pushing repairs which may not necessarily require immediate attention. Your happiness with our service and confidence in your vehicle is our utmost priority.
